Les Deux Barriques, Cairanne AOC

Made only when our assemblage tastings of La Côte Sauvage reveal two outstanding barrels - 'Deux Barriques' - that merit bottling in their own right.

Wine Story

We produce ‘Les Deux Barriques’ only when we feel the vintage has given something special; only when the results of our tastings show that we have two outstanding barrels. 2019 is one such vintage.

Made from low-yielding old vine Grenache, Carignan Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre grown on hillside vineyards above the village of Cairanne, ‘Les Deux Barriques’ 2019 was matured for up to 24 months in large French oak barrels and neither fined nor filtered before bottling.
